BCHFT Knowledge & Library Services is underpinned by the BCHFT strategic aims as well as Health Education England-Knowledge for Healthcare policy, sharing the vision that:

'NHS bodies, their staff, learners, patients and the public use the right knowledge and evidence, at the right time, in the right place, enabling high quality decision-making, learning, research and innovation to achieve excellent healthcare and health improvement.'

The trust has three libraries: Dorothy Pattison Hospital, Bushey Fields Hospital and Penn Hospital. 

Each library stocks a range of materials for loan and reference including; books, iPads, multi-media resources and journals.

In addition to the three libraries, we are also part of the Health Libraries Midlands Consortium known as HeLM. This enables all library members to access a much larger service with over 83,000 resources from 22 libraries.
