Yeovil Academy Library provide a comprehensive, multi-disciplinary library and knowledge service to all NHS staff and students on placement in Yeovil District Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. We also provide library services to partners including: St Margarets Hospice, Women's Hospital, Wynford House.

We support the provision of high quality, innovative, health and social care services by enabling access to the best available evidence and empowering health and social care staff to develop their evidence-based practice skills. We can help you keep up-to-date, find the evidence base to make decisions, support learning, education and research. The Library Team supplies the evidence to help make decisions on treatment, patient care and safety, commissioning and policy and to support lifelong learning and undertake research and drive innovation. Many resources are available electronically. 

What is KnowledgeShare?

KnowledgeShare connects healthcare staff and students with their local NHS library and knowledge service. Users receive personalisd highly targeted evidence updates emails based on their professional interests. KnowledgeShare users can also connect with colleagues based on shared professional interests, helping to spread innovation and collaborate on service improvement.

Who is eligible to use KnowledgeShare?

Anyone that is a member of Yeovil Academy Library, including students studying with us, hospital and community staff, GP and CCG staff and practice teams.

How do I access and sign up?

In order to make the most of this service please complete this Registration Form and return it to the Library. An OpenAthens password is also required to access this. If you don't already have an OpenAthens password you can Register Here. 

What else does Yeovil Academy Library offer?
