An introductory overview of critical appraisal, including a practical session appraising a randomised controlled trial (RCT) paper and a qualitative study paper.

Have a better understanding of what critical appraisal is and why it is important Be aware of the hierarchy of evidence Have been introduced to a set of critical appraisal tools Feel more confident in appraising articles effectively
