A session that explores what health literacy is, why it is important and what we can do to provide information for patients who may have low levels of health literacy.

- Define health literacy as a concept and describe its importance
- Describe the impact that low health literacy can have on people using the NHS 
- Identify the barriers to a higher level of health literacy 
- List resources that can help us support patients & improve their health literacy
