An structured session on the use of the Healthcare Databases and Searching (HDAS) tool provided by NICE to find information on your topic of interest. You will complete a search under the guidance of the course facilitator.The session will include an outline of the following topics: free-text searching; use of MeSH (Medical Subject Heading) terms; use of Thesaurus terms; adding limits; combining terms; saving and collating results. This would also be suitable for participants who have completed their own search and would like assurance of its accuracy.
