    A librarian will guide you through our seven steps and show you how to conduct a quality literature search. We will also explain how to access the fulltext of articles.     Using statistics and handling data: a foundational guide
    Glenfield Hospital Library - 13:00
    All UHL and LPT staff and students who want to have an understanding of some of the basic principles of statistics and data handling. We will look at the different types of data that exist some tools for describing the location (average) and spread (variability) of data. Then we will look at how we could make inference from sample data, about the population as a whole and how to do hypothesis testing. Finally we will look at other factors that determine which statistical tests are best used in which circumstances.
